Two CIP clones were tested at Joydebpur, Bogra, Jessore, Pahartali and Jamalpur against different yield contributing parameters. The mean yield of five locations was highest (34.33 t/ha) in CIP-440001 followed by BARI SP-4 (31.65 t/ha) and the lowest (29.85 t/ha) yield in BARI SP-5. The percent dry matter was the highest in CIP-440001 (32.90) followed by CIP-440014 (32.26) and the lowest in BARI SP-4 (27.40). Based on the findings three clones namely, CIP-440014 and CIP-440001 appeared promising and were selected for next year Regional Yield Trial

i)To select high yielding sweet potato clones. ii)To select high carotene and high dry flesh containing sweet potato clones.

The experiment was conducted at Joydebpur, Jamalpur, Bogra, Jessore and Pahartali during 2012-13. Two CIP clones included in the experiment along with BARI SP-4 and BARI SP-5 used as check. Vines were planted on 22ndOctober, 2012 in the field having plot size 3.0 x 3.0 m with 60 x 30 cm space. Each clone replicated thrice following RCBD. The crop was fertilized with recommended doses. Crop was harvested on 8th April, 2013. Data were recorded from 10 randomly selected plants and analyzed statistically.
