The experiment was conducted to investigate the combined effect of different plant growth regulators on growth and development of plantlets regeneration from PLBs of hybrid orchid, The combination of BAP + NAA, BAP +IAA, BAP + IBA and IAA + IBA at different concentrations were studied.The highest weight of PLBs (13.35g)was obtained from IAA +IBA having concentrations of 1.0 mg/l each.The highest shoot height (4.530 cm) and maximum numbervif leaves (5,510) was obtained from 1.0 mg/l each of BAP+ NAA combination. The highest leaf length (2.573 cm) was noticed in IAA + IBA at 1.0 mg/l each. The highest leaf width was obtained from 0.5 mg/l BAP + 1.0 mg/l IBA.The maximum number of regenerated plantlets (22) was obtained from 1.0 mg/l each of BAP +IAA and BAP + IBA

To observe the effect of different plant growth regulators on plantlet regeneration and the subsequent growth and development of Dendrobium hybrid orchid
The Protocorm Like Bodies(PLBs) from a crossed pod were used as explant. MS medium with different growth regulators were used for culturing the explant. Experiments were carried out in a completely randomized design with three replications. Data were collected for weight of PLBs, height of shoot, number of leaves per plantlet, length of leaves, width of leaves, fresh weight of single shoot and number of regenerated plantletsper sample. Data collected were subjected to analysis of variance and means were separated by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT).

Result: The highest shoot height (4.530 cm) and maximum number of leaves (5.510) was obtained from 1.0 mg/l each of BAP and NAA combination. The highest leaf length (2.573) was noticed in the combination of IAA and IBA at a concentration of 1.0 mg/l each. The maximum number of regenerated plantlets was obtained from 1.0 mg/l each of BAP and IAA combination and BAP and IBA combination.
