The Engineering design of the manual carrier was done with the help of CADRA engineering drawing tools (Software). Design of the prototype of transportation version 1, two speed-change-mechanism, prototype of transportation version 2, eight speed-change-mechanism, prototype of paddy-field version was done in the FMPHT divisional research workshop. Design considerations of the manual carrier Improvement was done in addition some chain, gear and speed change mechanism of the manual carrier. The design was completed with the help of CADRA drawing tools (Software) in the FMPHT division under the project of “Development of Research Capacity of the Bangladesh Rice Research Institute”. During design, the following criteria were collected: • Ease of speed change • Ease of operations • Ease of emergency breaking system • Ease of transportation of agricultural goods and other freights.
